A gift for my mummy

I did it! I made the bag I was writing about earlier today. I am very happy with how it has turned out and I can't wait to see if my mum likes it. Hopefully she will. It sits across my body comfortably. It is a bit too long for me but I think it will fit mum perfectly.

I based the pattern on the Simply stylish handbag from U-Handbag which I made in January but made this one deeper and I used a different type of leather strap. Furthermore, I wanted to have something over the top of the bag so things don't easily fall out so I put a flap there which I borrowed from a really good pattern created by Artsy-Crafty Babe.
