A secret squirrel business, some yarny fun and a significant milestone all in one weekend!

Shhh, I am making the "All in a nut shell" cardigan for a friend's upcoming first born. I am super excited about this because it is one with a fair isle yoke which I never done before.

It was a little bit of a challenge to start with because the increase stitches weren't evenly distributed before the chart started but once I sorted that out with the help of the designer Julia, all has been going smoothly. Just 3 more rows until I finish the fair isle part so I can't wait as the single colour knitting would be a lot quicker.

Apart from that I am also working on another amigurumi design. I am aiming to construct the body and head and neck all in one piece... Hopefully what I have in my mind works!

It has been a busy and very fulfilling weekend... I taught the first part of my beginners amigurumi workshop on Saturday. I am going to hold off blogging about it until after next Saturday when the 2nd & final part of the workshop is over but let me just say that I am so proud and excited that I am doing this!

Hubby and I have reached a significant milestone - we had our 21st anniversary on Sunday! No, not wedding and yes, we were just children when we started going out (so young then)...

I am signing off today's post with the photos I put together last year for our 20th anniversary. Unfortunately I couldn't find any photos from 1992... this made me decide to take a photo on our anniversary day every year from now on!

Happy stitching!
